Financial Hardships Were Her Inspirations

Woman Pursues Her Professional Office Organizing Business with Great Tenacity

    By Home Business Magazine

Like many people, Kimmberli Robinson has had her fair share of financial hardships, shattered hopes, and dreams. A more recent example of her share began on Friday, April 24, 2009, when her temporary assignment with a local staffing agency ended. Prior to her assignment ending, Kimmberli was also anxiously, waiting to begin life anew, in Richmond, Virginia. However, due to several financial setbacks, her hopes to relocate were quickly dashed, and she was forced to remain in Ohio.

With absolutely no income coming into Kimmberli’s household, she soon found herself without the financial wherewithal to purchase groceries, bus passes, and other essentials. In addition, her bills were beginning to mount. Still, in August and September 2009, respectively, Kimmberli’s financial hardships increased when her electricity and gas were disconnected simultaneously. She would not allow her disconnected utilities to dampen her spirit or paralyze her dreams to launch a professional office organizing business.

Kimmberli utilized her resourcefulness and learned that she qualified for food stamps and unemployment compensation. She utilized sternos to prepare food and candles to provide light for her apartment. Kimmberli began to view her hardships as opportunities rather than as obstacles. “My financial hardships inspired me to pursue my professional office organizing business with great tenacity, for I truly desired a better life for myself,” says Kimmberli.

Kimmberli’s decision to launch her home-based professional office organizing business, Immaculate By Design, was spawned during her four-year tenure, as an Office Support Specialist, with the local staffing agency. As an Office Support Specialist, she was endowed with the opportunity to hone her organizational skills, by assisting businesses with re-organizing/restoring their filing/paper backlog. Many of Kimmberli’s supervisors were so impressed with her organizational capabilities and overall work ethic, that they provided written testimonials for her.

Kimmberli began writing press releases, met with a host of business professionals, attended small business seminars, and paid for a newspaper advertisement to promote her home-based business, despite having a very limited budget. “Yes, I managed to do all of these things, despite having my electricity and gas disconnected,” says Kimmberli. “My inner strength and immense faith propelled me to plan to be a successful entrepreneur, in the very near future, and to not succumb to self-defeat and self-pity.” For more information, call 614-476-6659 or email ImmaculateByDesign@yahoo.com.
