    While Spending More Time with Her Child

    Kristin Steede was inspired to start her home-based business not only because she instantly fell in love with the product, but because she is also expecting her first child. She sees this as an opportunity to generate an income while spending more time with her child.

        Prior to starting her Stream Cosmetics home-based business, Kristin actually worked in the mortgage industry for many years. There had been so much uncertainty and cut backs in the business, that she actually felt more security taking control over her future and starting her home-based business.
        As a Stream Cosmetics Independent Distributor, Kristin has two separately but equally important goals. One is to introduce the Stream Airbrush system and products to women and men across the nation. The other is to recruit new distributors who are interested in doing the same.
        Per Kristin, there are many different ways to promote her home-based business. She focuses on social networking sites, such as Facebook and Twitter. She also enjoys attending a variety of different events and expos. “Shows are great, because they allow potential clients and distributors to see the products in action and actually use them,” says Kristin. “I also feel that business networking and family are two other key areas to promote my business.”

         Kristin’s customers are primarily people like herself. She has no professional makeup experience and was surprised by how easy it was to use the Stream Airbrush System and how amazing and natural her skin looked after using it.
        Kristin considers having the courage and confidence to start her own home-base business in a completely different industry as her best business achievements. She appreciates the advantages of working from home. Not only does she have the power to set own schedule; she feels other pieces of her life are much more organized as a result. “I find it easier to exercise and eat healthier foods, since I do not have to rush out the door by a certain time to ‘punch a clock,’” says Kristen. “I must admit that the money we will be saving on daycare is a huge advantage, too!”
        In the future, Kristin sees herself as a top level distributor in her region, but most importantly she sees herself as financially secure and happy with the career path she has taken. HBM
