Excel at What People Hire You to Do!

In a recession, people watch their money closely. To succeed at this time then means you have to use that to your advantage. How? You must excel at what it is people hire you to do. The best, most successful small business does its main job exceptionally well. A restaurant must offer great food. A dry cleaner has to get the spots out!

While there are all sorts of things that go into the small business success equation, these folks know that the most important thing is that they are great at doing that thing they are hired to do.

If you do your job adequately, potential customers may come back, but probably not. If you are good at it, they probably will become your customers. But if you are great at it, they will become your cheerleaders. HBM
