Between Marketing Support Available and Marketing Support Needed

Denise Michaels started her home-based business when she realized there was a gap between the marketing support available and the marketing support needed for home-based business owners. So, she found several needs and filled them.

Michaels mentors people in marketing their businesses, and she has a second unique program she recently started which provides support and accountability for successful people who don’t need how-tos; they simply need a positive push of encouragement and accountability weekly.

Michaels has always been entrepreneurial and worked on her own business projects even when she worked for others. Before her current business, Michaels was a marketing trainer and mentor for a mega best-selling author in his expensive seminar program. During her seven-year tenure, she mentored over 1,200 people and discovered the great divide between the needs and the solutions offered.

Michaels authored a book, “Testosterone-Free Marketing,” and she says it is her greatest selling tool. It’s attracted media coverage, speaking engagements, and clients. Per Michaels, it’s become a business bestseller and has sold in 12 countries, because the message answers unique needs not found elsewhere. Michaels also promotes her business online using articles, online networking, SEO, blogs, and other strategies to bring people to her web site http://www.MentoringwithMichaels.com.

. Michaels’s marketing filters in people who are right for what she offers and filters out people who aren’t. By the time she talks with prospective clients, they’re generally pre-sold. Her clients are home-based business owners who recognize they have challenges with marketing and selling.

The success of her clients lights Michaels up. She considers their success as her greatest achievement. “Since I’ve worked at home for nine years, it’s hard to imagine working any other way,” says Michaels. “I love not having to commute, and with gasoline teetering close to $4.00 per gallon, that’s a big advantage. Never setting an alarm clock is great as well,” Michaels continues.

In three years, Michaels says she’ll have her second book out which she predicts will be a NY Times bestseller. She’ll also be doing more of the same but on a larger scale. HBM
