    One way to fund your new or growing business is by getting people to invest in it. Unlike lenders, investors don’t expect you to pay them back with interest. Instead, investors give you money and become part owners of your company. You benefit because you can raise enough money to grow your business, and the investors benefit by sharing in the business’s profits.
