Partners Develop Complete Business Without Ever Meeting in Person

Steven Clayton and Tim Godfrey (pictured) were doing quite well running their separate companies from home for several years, but things really started to take off when they met online and decided to build a new business together.

Tim Godfrey (London, UK) had spent most of his professional life working online. He spent years as a very successful Internet marketer working by himself. After concluding his corporate career as a Vice President for a Fortune 500 company, Steven Clayton (NC, USA) began working full-time making money online with affiliate marketing and search engine marketing consulting. “Working from home was great!” says Steve. “But I really longed for a bit more interaction with people and to develop my own products around something I was passionate about.” Steve discovered that passion after brainstorming with Tim online.

Tim was doing some online marketing research and came across Steve’s publications. “It seemed like Steve and I were on the same page after I read his material,” said Tim. “He and I were building businesses in the same ways, and we seemed to have complimentary talents. I thought it would be worth a quick e-mail to see if he wanted to compare notes.” It was an email that would result in building a whole new business.

During their initial brainstorming sessions, it became clear that they shared a passion for trying to teach and help others to achieve success in building home-based businesses. They developed their first information product “Commission Blueprint” in record time, and it went on to become one of the biggest selling products ever in that market.

Over the last year, the partnership has grown into a company that specializes in training products that teach people how to build their own Internet marketing businesses. They market their products online and have a huge following of loyal customers. Tim and Steve enjoyed working together so much that they ended up combining their previous Internet marketing companies together as well. In doing so, they’ve created a $10 million dollar international company, all from the comfort of their homes.
