After graduating from college, Ray Titus went to work for his father, Roy Titus, founder of Minuteman Press. At that point, Minuteman Press was already very successful. At 22 years old, Ray made the decision to continue in his father's tradition of success by building his own company, SIGNARAMA. Ray’s father helped with the initial investment and launch of the brand, and SIGANRAMA quickly became the world’s largest sign franchise. It was an easy fit for the Titus family, because it had a lot of similarities to things they were very used to doing at Minuteman such as typestyles, logos, colors, and graphic arts. In fact, when they started, they shared offices with Minuteman Press in New York. But by 1989, SIGNARAMA had grown to such a level that they decided to relocate to Florida. With Ray Titus as President, United Franchise Group (UFG) was formed. This over time consisted of not only SIGNARAMA, but also a number of other successful business-to-business brands and franchise development services such as EmbroidMe, Billboard Connection, FranchiseMart, and Plan Ahead Events. In addition to its award-winning brands, UFG offers a unique range of development services through Accurate Franchising, Inc., Franchise Greenhouse, and World Franchisors. These companies assist other franchise businesses from conception to global expansion. The talented team behind United Franchise Group has over thirty years of franchising experience. Ray has led United Franchise Group’s affiliated companies to phenomenal growth with more than 1400 units in 50 countries. Because of his continued success, Ray is committed to giving back to both the franchising and world community with knowledge and resources. He is affiliated with many organizations, has received numerous awards including the U.S. Presidential “E” award for exporting excellence and the Ernst & Young Florida Entrepreneur of the Year, and has spent countless hours and dollars supporting charities. Ray is also an accomplished speaker and devoted husband and father. Family values are very important to Ray, both at home with his wife of 17 years, Andrea, and his three boys: A.J., Austin and Andrew. The same is true at work where he exemplifies the same loyalty and dedication. For more information, visit http://www.unitedfranchisegroup.com.
