Home-Based Inventor Creates a Gadget That Plays Motivational Quotes, Words of Wisdom, Mantras, and Daily Devotions

Marty Lee Parker grew up on a farm in Southern Ohio. At 4:45 am, his father would have breakfast waiting and as they ate together, he would pass on his words of wisdom and little secrets of life. When Marty’s kids became old enough to understand, he began to pass on to his kids tid-bits of wisdom, motivational quotes, and positive belief systems that would help them out in life.

Marty did great for the first two weeks, rattling off quotes and little antidotes, but then he ran out of material and had to go to the Internet and write things down. He wished he had a button that everyday would spit out a new quote or words of wisdom from some of history’s greatest achievers. He searched and searched, but couldn’t find such a device. So he decided to create one. He called his button a Life Learning Device (LLD). The Life Learning Device is a small gadget that plays motivational quotes, words of wisdom, mantras, and daily devotions at the touch of a button. It is designed to give only one tid-bit of knowledge a day for an entire year.

For the last eleven years, Marty has been a professional day trader. He still trades stocks for the first hour of the day and then makes phone calls to get clients signed up to create their own LLDs. Marty’s home-based business consists of him directing product development, manufacturing, sales, and fulfillment — all from his phone and via email.

Marty creates LLDs for motivational speakers and authors. He is using the distribution channels of authors that he signs up to promote LLDs. Wherever their books, dvds and cds are sold, they can now offer LLDs. 

Marty has signed up amazing thinkers such as Bob Proctor, Les Brown, Larry Winget, and Ralph Martson to custom create their own LLDs. The Secrets of Life, LLD was recently chosen to be included in an Oscar’s gift bag.

Marty likes working within seconds of his family. “I can just pop out of my home office, tickle my three kids, and then pop back into the home office,” he says.

In the near future, Marty intends to build a team to run his business, with him remaining the visionary. He wants to have 150 major authors signed up and to be selling over 400,000 LLDs a year. www.lifelearningdevices.com. HBM
